رونمایی ترجمه‌ی عربی “نامه‌هایی به شکنجه‌گرم” در نمایشگاه جهانی کتاب قاهره

کتاب “نامه‌هایی به شکنجه گرم” نوشته‌ی هوشنگ اسدی بزبان عربی در نمایشگاه جهانی کتاب قاهره پایتخت مصر رونمایی می‌شود. این نمایشگاه که هر سال در بهمن ماه (۲۴ ژانویه تا ۶ فوریه) برگزار می‌شود، یکی از محبوب‌ترین نمایشگاههای کتاب دنیاست و هر سال بین ۳-۴ میلیون بیننده دارد.

کتاب” نامه‌هایی به شکنجه گرم” نوشته‌ی هوشنگ اسدی، نویسنده، مترجم و روزنامه‌نویس مقیم پاریس، بازگوی خاطرات او در زندان‌های ایران است و بخش اصلی آن در زندان شش ساله‌اش در جمهوری اسلامی می‌گذرد. این دوران که به”دهه‌ی وحشت” معروف است از سال ۱۳۶۱ و با سرکوب خونین نیروهای سیاسی در جمهوری اسلامی ایران شروع شد و تا قتل عام زندانیان سیاسی تا هفت سال بعد ادامه یافت.

در این دوران آیت‌اله سید علی خامنه‌ای رئیس جمهور ایران بود. از شوخی روزگار هوشنگ اسدی را بعد از دستگیری به همان زندان و سلولی بردند که در دوران شاه با رهبر کنونی جمهوری اسلامی “هم‌سلول” بود. بخش بسیار جذاب کتاب به خاطرات این دوران اختصاص دارد. سه ماه تمام در یک سلول با آقای خامنه‌ای: از بحث و شوخی و آوازخوانی گرفته تا رفتن به حمام مشترک.

هوشنگ اسدی که هنوز روحیه شوخ خود را در هفتاد و سه سالگی حفظ کرده، در مصاحبه‌ای می‌گوید:
- من کسی هستم که رهبر را برهنه دیده‌ام.

هوشنگ اسدی که شرح دقیقی از سیمای جوانی رهبر کنونی جمهوری اسلامی را در کتاب ارائه می‌دهد، چند سال بعد که انقلاب شد و “هم سلول” او به ریاست جمهوری رسید، به اتهام “جاسوسی” دستگیر شد. او سه ماه تمام زیربازجویی و وحشیانه‌ترین شکنجه‌ها قرار گرفت و مجبور شد “اعتراف کند” که هم‌زمان جاسوس سازمان‌های موساد، سیا و ک‌گ‌ب بوده است.

هوشنگ اسدی براساس همان “اعتراف”‌های زیر شکنجه ابتدا به اعدام و سپس به ۱۵ سال زندان محکوم شد و ۶ سال طول کشید تا بعد از عفو عمومی زندانیان بازمانده از قتل عام تابستان ۱۳۶۷ آزاد شد و سپس همراه همسرش مجبور به ترک ایران گردید.

در سال ۱۳۸۸ “برادر حمید”، شکنجه‌گر هوشنگ اسدی با نام اصلی‌اش “حمید سرمدی پارسا” سفیر جمهوری اسلامی در تاجیکستان بود، “هم‌سلول” نویسنده در دوران شاه رهبر جمهوری اسلامی و خودش تبعیدی پاریس. او خاطراتش را در کتابی به نام” نامه‌هایی به شکنجه گرم” نوشت که توسط انتشارات “وان ورلد” در لندن به زبان انگلیسی منتشر شد.

کتاب سال بعد “جایزه جهانی حقوق بشر” را به دست آورد و به زبان‌های هلندی و لهستانی ترجمه شد. نسخه فارسی کتاب در حجمی دو برابر به دست مخاطبان فارسی زبان رسید که تا کنون دهها بار تجدید چاپ شده است.

انتشارات ناکجا در پاریس به‌زودی ویرایش جدیدی از کتاب را منتشر خواهد کرد.

Unveiling of the Arabic translation of “Letters to my Torturer” at the Cairo International Book Fair

The book “Letters to my Torturer” written by Houshang Asadi in Arabic will be unveiled at the World Book Fair in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. This book exhibition which is held every year (January 24 to February 6), is one of the most popular book fairs in the world and has between 3-4 million visitors every year.

The book “Letters to my Torturer” written by Houshang Asadi, a writer-translator and journalist living in Paris, recounts his memories in Iran’s prisons, and the main part of it is dedicated to his six-year imprisonment in the Islamic Republic.

Eighties of the twentieth century, which is known in Iran as the “decade of horror” began in 1982 with the bloody suppression of political forces in the Islamic Republic of Iran and continued until the massacre of political prisoners seven years later.

During this period, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was the president of Iran. As a bitter irony of history, Asadi after arrested and was taken to the same prison and cell that he was in with the current leader of the Islamic Republic during the Shah’s Regime. A very interesting part of the book is dedicated to the memories of this period: Three whole months in a cell with Mr. Khamenei, arguing, singing, joking, even talk sexy… and going to the common bathroom.

Houshang Asadi, who still maintains his witty spirit at the age of seventy-three, says in an interview:
- I am the one who saw the leader naked.

Houshang Asadi, who provides a detailed description of the young face of the current leader of the Islamic Republic in the book, was arrested on charges of “espionage” when the revolution took place and his “cellmate” became president. He was interrogated and subjected to the most brutal tortures for three months and was forced to “confess” that he was a spy for the Mossad, CIA and KGB organizations at the same time.

Based on the this “confessions”, He was first sentenced to death and then to 15 years in prison, and it took 6 years until he was released after the general amnesty of the prisoners who survived the massacre in the summer of 1988, and then he was forced to leave Iran with his wife.

In 2010, “Brother Hamid”, the torturer of Houshang Asadi, with his real name “Hamid Sarmedi Parsa”, was the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Tajikistan, his “cellmate” during the Shah, the leader of the Islamic Republic, and himself an exile in Paris. He wrote his memoirs in a book called “Letters to my Torturer” which was published in English in 2010 by “One World” Publishing House in London.

In 2011, the book won the “World Human Rights Award” and was translated into Dutch and Polish languages. The Persian version of the book reached Persian-speaking audiences in a double volume, which has been reprinted dozens of times. “NaaKojaa “Publishing in Paris will soon publish a new edition of the book.
