محکومیت حضور نمایندگان اروپا در تحلیف احمدی‌نژاد

بیانیه برای امضا
جامعه بین المللی باید از این خواستها در ایران پشتیبانی کند:
آزادی زندانیان، قطع سرکوب، تحقیق درباره جنایات رژیم

در حالی که میلیونها ایرانی برآنند که تقلب در انتخابات ۲۲ خرداد، مشروعیت دومین دوره ریاست جمهوری محمود احمدی نژاد را زیر سئوال برده است،
در حالی که رژیم ایران ناگزیر شد مراسم تحلیف احمدی نژاد را در میان حضور سنگین نیروهای امنیتی برگزار کند،
در حالی که تقریباً در هر هفته که از انتخابات گذشته است ایرانیانی به دست نیروهای امنیتی ایران که می کوشند اعتراضات علیه احمدی نژاد را سرکوب کنند به قتل رسیده اند،

در حالی که حتی برخی مقامات بالای رژیم ایران، از جمله رئیس مجمع تشخیص مصلحت و مجلس خبرگان، یک رئیس جمهور سابق دیگر و بسیاری از روحانیون، از شرکت در مراسم آغاز دور دوم مسئولیت احمدی نژاد خودداری کردند،
گزارشها حاکی است نمایندگان دیپلماتیک اتحادیه اروپا و از جمله سفیر سوئد در تهران در جلسه تحلیفی که آغاز ریاست جمهوری فردی بسیار منفور بود، شرکت کرده اند.

ما این کرنش به احمدی نژاد را محکوم می کنیم. احمدی نژاد همواره نشان داده است پاسخ ابتکارهای دیپلماتیک را با دهن کجی های باز هم بیشتر به جامعه بین المللی می دهد. جامعه بین المللی و از جمله اتحادیه اروپا باید به جای تلاشهای بی ثمر برای دلجویی از احمدی نژاد، خواهان آزادی فوری همه زندانیان سیاسی در ایران، قطع فوری سرکوب خشن معترضان و انجام تحقیق مستقل بین المللی درباره جنایاتی شود که رژیم ایران از ۲۲ خرداد بدین سو مرتکب شده است، مهمتر از همه موارد قتل و شکنجه.

Condemn the Participation of EU Representatives in Ahmadinejad’s Inauguration

While millions of Iranians are convinced that the legitimacy of Mahmood Ahmadinejad’s second term of presidency is put into question by fraud in the June 12 elections;
While the Iranian regime was forced to celebrate Ahmadinejad’s inauguration in the midst of a massive deployment of security forces;
While in almost every week since the elections Iranians have been killed by the Iranian security forces in an attempt to crack down the protests against Ahmadinejad;
While even high officials of the Iranian regime, with the chairman of the Expediency Council and the Council of Experts, another former president and many clerics among them, refused to participate in the ceremonies for the begin of Ahmadinejad’s second term in office;
It was reported that diplomatic representatives of the European Union, including the Swedish Ambassador in Tehran, attended the inauguration session which marked the installation of an extremely contended person as Iranian president.
We condemn this act of prostration towards Ahmadinejad who has always shown that he responds to diplomatic initiatives with even more affronts against the international community. Instead of useless attempts to appease Ahmadinejad, the international community, including the European Union, must demand the immediate release of all political prisoners in Iran, an immediate stop to the brutal suppression of protesters and an international and independent investigation about the crimes the Iranian regime has committed since June 12, most important the acts of murder and torture.
