نگرانی از سرنوشت یک دختر دانشجو

ایران امروز: عفو بین‌الملل روز پنجشنبه ۶ ژوئن با انتشار اطلاعیه‌ای اعلام کرد، یک دختر دانشجوی ۲۱ ساله به نام «ناهید کهلر»، روز اول ژوئن (۱۲ خرداد) توسط اداره اطلاعات شهر قم اظهار ، سپس بازداشت شده است.

عفو بین‌الملل در اطلاعیه خود نوشته است، این دانشجو در معرض خطر بدرفتاری و شکنجه قرار دارد. محل نگهداری او مشخص نیست و تماسی با خانواده‌ی خود و یا یک وکیل مدافع ندارد.

ناهید کلهر دانشجوی زیست‌شناسی است و در شهر قهم تحصل می‌کند. او تلفنی به اداره اطلاعات احضار شده است. فردی که به او زنگ زده خود را معرفی نکرده، اما تهدید کرده اگر هر چه زودتر در اداره اطلاعات حاضر نشود، خانواده‌اش را بازداشت خواهد شد. ناهید کلهر ماجرای احضار خود را تنها به برادرش اطلاع داده و به همراه وی به اداره‌ی اطلاعات قم مراجعه می‌کند. اما در آنجا بازداشت می‌شود. گفته می‌شود کلهر را متهم به تماس با گروه‌های مخالف حکومت در خارج از کشور کرده‌اند.

عفو بین‌الملل از اعضای خود و دیگر فعالین حقوق بشر در سراسر جهان خواسته است، با ارسال نامه به مقام‌های حکومت ایران از آنها درباره‌ی سرنوشت ناهید کلهر، علت بازداشت و محل نگهداری او جویا شوند.

Nahid Kalhor (f), aged 21, student

Student Nahid Kalhor was arrested on 1 June by officers of the Ministry of Intelligence (Ettelaʼat). She is at risk of torture and other ill-treatment. Her whereabouts are unknown, and she has had no contact with her family or lawyers.

In the morning of 1 June Nahid Kalhor received a phone call telling her to go to the Ettelaʼat offices in Qom, the city southwest of Iran where she is studying. The caller did not identify himself and threatened that her family would be arrested if she did not go to the Ettela'at offices. She only told her brother and together they went to the Ettelaʼat offices where she was arrested, apparently in relation to her alleged contact with opposition parties outside Iran.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Please send appeals to arrive as quickly as possible, in Persian, English, Arabic or your own language:
- calling on the authorities to ensure that Nahid Kalhor is not subjected to torture and other ill-treatment, and to allow her immediate access to a lawyer of her own choosing, and any medical treatment she may require;
- asking why exactly she was arrested; what charges, if any, have been brought against her; and when any trial will begin;
- calling on the authorities to release her unless she is to be charged with a recognizably criminal offence and given a prompt and fair trial.
