نامه بیش از ۱۰۰ مقام سابق و کارشناس امنیت ملی آمریکا:

باید به این ۱۰ دلیل در برجام بمانیم

بیش از یکصد مقام سابق و کارشناس امنیت ملی آمریکا با امضای نامه‌ای خطاب به دولت آمریکا ضمن تاکید بر دستاوردهای معاهده «برجام» برای آمریکا، از دولت واشنگتن خواستند که از این معاهده بین المللی خارج نشود. ۴ سفیر سابق آمریکا در اسراییل در میان امضاکنندگان این نامه هستند.

بیش از یکصد مقام سابق و کارشناس امنیت ملی آمریکا با امضای نامه‌ای خطاب به دولت آمریکا ضمن تاکید بر دستاوردهای معاهده «برجام» برای آمریکا، از دولت واشنگتن خواستند که از این معاهده بین المللی خارج نشود. ۴ سفیر سابق آمریکا در اسراییل در میان امضاکنندگان این نامه هستند.

به گزارش عصرایران به نقل از نیویورک تایمز، امضا کنندگان این نامه فراجناحی که در میان آنها چهره‌هایی از مقامات ارشد دیپلماتیک و نظامی آمریکا نیز دیده می‌شود به دولت ترامپ توصیه کرده‌اند که بنا به ۱۰ دلیل مشخص، خروج این کشور از برجام هیچ دستاوردی برای واشنگتن نخواهد داشت.

آنها نامه کوتاه خود را با یک پاراگراف شروع کرده و سپس در ۱۰ بند منافع باقی ماندن آمریکا در معاهده برجام را برشمرده‌اند.

متن نامه حامیان برجام خطاب به دولت آمریکا و دونالد ترامپ

در پاراگراف ابتدایی نامه آنها چنین آمده است: «رئیس جمهور ترامپ باید تعهد خود به توافق اتمی ایران را حفظ کند. این کار فواید قابل توجهی خواهد داشت و دست آمریکا را در مواجهه با کره شمالی و ایران تقویت کرده و باعث تقویت اعتبار حرف آمریکا و نفوذ بیشتر آن به عنوان یکی از رهبران جهان می‌شود. خروج از این توافق تامین کننده هیچ هدفی در زمینه امنیت ملی نیست.»

در میان امضا کنندگان این نامه چهار سفیر سابق آمریکا در اسراییل هم دیده می‌شوند.

امضا کنندگان نامه نظرات خود را درباره برجام در ۱۰ محور خلاصه طبقه بندی کرده‌اند که به شرح زیر است:

۱- برجام تضمین‌کننده و بازدارنده توسعه برنامه هسته‌ای ایران و جلوگیری از حرکت برنامه هسته‌ای این کشور به سمت نظامی است و در صورت فقدان این معاهده هیچ جایگزینی برای نظارت گسترده جامعه جهانی بر برنامه هسته‌ای ایران وجود ندارد.

۲- برجام تضمین کننده وجود ارتباط مستقیم و دیالوگ بین ایران و آمریکاست که می‌تواند از تشدید اختلافات و جنگ بین دو طرف جلوگیری کند.

۳- لغو برجام بدگمانی دولت کره شمالی به آمریکا را تقویت کرده و موجب می‌شود که پیونگ‌یانگ به راحتی در مذاکرات خلع سلاح در پیش‌روی خود به آمریکا اعتماد نکند.

۴- کشورهای دیگر منطقه – خاورمیانه – با وجود برجام و تحت نظارت بودن برنامه هسته‌ای ایران انگیزه و تمایل زیادی برای رفتن به سمت توسعه برنامه هسته‌ای نخواهند داشت.

۵- روابط ایالات متحده آمریکا با متحدان اروپایی خود که همگی مخالفت خروج یکجانبه آمریکا از برجام هستند، تقویت می‌شود.

۶- در صورت باقی ماندن آمریکا در برجام، رابطه آمریکا با متحدانش برای مقابله با دیگر فعالیت‌های منفی ایران در منطقه و اعمال تحریم‌های احتمالی بر سر دیگر فعالیت‌های ایران در منطقه تقویت خواهد شد.

۷- در صورت خروج آمریکا از برجام، ایران با انداختن گناه بر هم خوردن این توافق به گردن آمریکا، برنامه هسته‌ای خود را از سرخواهد گرفت و روسیه و چین خود را مسئول و حافظان نظم بین المللی خواهند دانست.

۸- با باقی ماندن آمریکا در برجام نفوذ سیاسی و دیپلماتیک آمریکا در منطقه حفظ شده و نقش آمریکا در ایجاد توازن و جلوگیری از بحران‌های منطقه‌ای تقویت خواهد شد. آمریکا نباید حل مسایل منطقه را به روسیه و ایران واگذارد.

۹- با باقی ماندن آمریکا در برجام، درستی استدلال تندروهای ایرانی که آمریکا را قابل اعتماد نمی دانند ثابت نمی شود و موضع آنها تقویت نخواهد شد.

۱۰- با خروج آمریکا از برجام روسیه و چین به این کشور بیشتر از گذشته نزدیک شده و سلاح‌های بیشتری در اختیار ایران خواهند گذاشت.

امضا کنندگان این نامه با استدلال ده‌گانه فوق تاکید کرده‌اند که خروج آمریکا از برجام دستاوردی برای سیاست خارجی و منافع امنیتی واشنگتن در منطقه و جهان نخواهد داشت.

این گروه این نامه را تحت عنوان «ائتلاف ملی جلوگیری از دسترسی ایران به سلاح اتمی» امضا کرده‌اند.

Keep The Iran Deal–10 Good Reasons

by National Coalition to Prevent an Iranian Nuclear Weapon

President Trump should maintain the U.S. commitment to the Iran nuclear deal. Doing so will bring substantial benefits and strengthen America’s hand in dealing with North Korea, as well as Iran, and help maintain the reliability of America’s word and influence as a world leader. Ditching it would serve no national security purpose.

Maintaining Rigorous Implementation of the Agreement Enhances U.S. and Regional Security

1. Iran will be prohibited from exceeding severe limits on its nuclear program under continuing, unprecedented international monitoring, preventing it from moving toward a nuclear weapon for the duration of the agreement. If there is no follow-on agreement that maintains constraints on Iran and if Iran should move toward acquiring a nuclear weapon, nothing prevents the U.S. from taking action.

2. Direct U.S.-Iran communications will be better maintained for crisis management if the nuclear agreement remains in place. The potential for military confrontation, inadvertent accidents and consequent misjudgments in Syria and the Gulf may require the contingency for emergency contacts made possible through the Joint Commission of the nuclear agreement.

3. North Korea could not claim that the U.S. abrogates agreements without cause and would be more likely to negotiate an end to its nuclear program. Efforts to limit nuclear proliferation would be strengthened.

4. Other states in the region would have significantly reduced motivation to develop nuclear weapons if Iran’s program remains under intense scrutiny and restrictions.

The Agreement Enhances U.S. Stature and Leadership

5. U.S. relations with major European allies, who all oppose U.S. withdrawal, would be preserved for advancing U.S. national security interests beyond the nuclear deal.

6. The U.S. will build credibility and retain influence with its negotiating partners to ensure strict implementation with the agreement, be able to lead efforts to strengthen it, or garner strong support for imposing additional sanctions if necessary. Should U.S. efforts with allies fail to reach understandings on remaining in the agreement, the Western Alliance would face significant additional strain.

7. Iran will be denied the opportunity to blame the U.S. should it renew its nuclear program in response to a U.S. withdrawal. Russia and China will be denied the opportunity to claim they are true guardians of international order.

8. U.S. political and diplomatic influence would not be eroded, improving the U.S.’s ability to advance the resolution of regional conflicts. There are no military solutions to the conflicts in the Middle East. The U.S. should not cede to Russia, Iran, or others, control over political settlements in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.

Maintaining the Agreement Provides Opportunities to Decrease Tensions in the Region

9. Iranian hardliners who claim the U.S. can never be trusted would be proven wrong and their influence weakened.

10.Russia and China would have greater difficulty moving closer to Iran politically, economically, and militarily which could lead to increased transfers of conventional weapons and a Russia-Iran strategic alliance.
